๐ŸŒŸ Signing Ceremony of the Partnership between Plan International Bangladesh & PRERONA ๐ŸŒŸ

We are delighted to announce a transformative partnership between Plan International Bangladesh and PRERONA, formalized to implement the DURBAR Projectโ€”a multi-dimensional initiative designed to address the intersecting challenges faced by adolescent girls and young women in coastal Bangladesh.

The project combines three powerful components to create a holistic impact:
๐Ÿ”น COMPONENT 1: Climate Change Education Prepares young people to understand and respond to climate change through awareness, school engagement, and local adaptation strategies.
๐Ÿ”น COMPONENT 2: Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Equips girls with life-saving knowledge, confidence, and access to services so they can make informed decisions about their bodies and future.
๐Ÿ”น COMPONENT 3: Youth Economic Empowerment (YEE) Creates opportunities for girls to build skills, access decent work, and lead climate-friendly businesses that contribute to local resilience.

๐Ÿ”€ Cross-Cutting Theme: Humanitarian Response Ensures inclusive support in times of crisis and strengthens the capacity of communities to respond to emergencies.

Together, these components form an integrated strategy that educates, protects, and economically uplifts girls aged 10โ€“24 years, enabling them to thrive despite social and environmental challenges.

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Coverage: The project will engage 29 schools and operate across Mushiganj Union, reaching some of the most vulnerable girls in coastal communities.
๐Ÿค May this journey of collaboration bring lasting impact to the lives of young girls and their communities.
